KCCSは、大学での電子学術書（和書）の普及を目指し、2010年12月から慶應義塾大学メディアセンターと共同で、学生・教職員を対象とした電子学術書配信の実証実験を行い、学習に適した電子書籍活用のノウハウを蓄積してきた。
「BookLooper」は、メモ・マーカー・全文検索などの学習支援機能や、電子書籍のDRM（デジタル著作権管理）、決済機能を備えたクラウド型サービス。大学での効率的な学習や、企業での知識の活用を支援する電子書籍配信の商用サービスとして提供する。

安政７（１８６０）年２月７日、雨。 松陰が落命して１００日がたったこの日、松陰の実家であり、またその敷地に松下村塾がある杉家で、鎮魂祭がいとなまれ、松陰の前髪が出生地の「団子岩」ちかくの墓所に葬られた。 参列したのは晋作や玄瑞をはじめ、中谷正亮（しょうすけ）、佐世八十郎（させやそろう）、品川弥二郎、時山直八、久保清太郎、岡部富太郎、作間忠三郎、松浦松洞（しょうどう）（松陰肖像画の作者）ら十数人。松陰はこのときまだ、公儀（幕府）にはむかった罪人である。晋作たちの決意と結束の固さがうかがえる。かれらはのちに“松下村塾派”を構成するのだが、その過半数が、幕末・維新期に命を落とす。（これでは、なんのために晋作を帰郷させたのかわからない） 晋作の“隠密行動”を察した、そんな高杉家の意向、さらには進境著しい晋作をエリートとして育てたい、という藩中枢の意向がはたらいたのだろう。師の鎮魂祭から４日後、数えで２２歳の晋作は藩校・明倫館練兵場の教練御用掛（ごようがかり）に登用されたかとおもうと、その１カ月後には明倫館舎長（しゃちょう）を命ぜられた。 当時、明倫館の入学者は優秀な者から順に通学生→入舎生→居寮生→舎長といった順に選抜されていった。舎長は１０人前後いたのだが、もはや生徒というよりも、学頭を頂点としたピラミッドの最底辺ではあるが、明倫館教官の一人といえた。 晋作にとっては立身だったが、松下村塾（村塾）にとっては痛手だった。このころ、入江杉蔵は玄瑞につづっている。《近ごろは俗論の勢いが日ごとに盛んなありさま。中谷どのも進退おもうにまかせず、高杉君も舎長になってしまったので、もう村塾についやす時間はないでしょう。なんとも村塾の零落（れいらく）が思われてなりません》（しかし、村塾がさびれてゆくのも仕方がない） と晋作はおもっていた。（だいいち、松陰先生あっての松下村塾ではないか。たとえ玄瑞であろうと、そのかわりができるものではない。 それに、先生は「わが死を哀しむな。わが志を大きくせよ」といいのこされた。ときはすでに乱世、激動の時代をむかえている。いまはもはや机の上ではなく、実際の世のなかで先生の志をいかにつらぬき、大きくしてゆくかが問われているのだ） 晋作がそう考えるのには十分な理由があった。松陰の命をうばった「安政の大獄」を主導した幕府大老・井伊直弼（なおすけ）が白昼、登城途中に襲われ、暗殺されるという事件がおこった。 「桜田門外の変」である。

テンションの低いトークや眠くなる企画で視聴者を安眠に誘うというコンセプトのこの番組。終了時間未定の生放送という珍しい試みでも人気を集めているが、今回は「テレビをつけていると明るくて眠れない」といったニーズに応え、初めてNHK-FMでも同時放送を敢行。テレビ放送終了後には、ラジオ限定の「反省会」も予定されている。
番組オフィシャルサイトでは、夜中に襲ってくる不安や切なさ、怒りなどのモヤモヤする「眠れない声」を募集中。今回はメインMCの宮藤官九郎と又吉直樹（ピース）に加えて小池徹平が出演し、これらの投稿にゆるく答えていく。早川義夫はこの番組にゲストとして登場し“眠いい音楽”を演奏。そのほか市原悦子の「日本眠いい昔ばなし」をはじめ、“眠いい企画”満載で届けられる。心地良い眠りに誘われたい人は、ぜひ観ておこう。
